I cut the hot and cold water inlet/outlet pipes when I removed my leaking hot water heater. While I'm waiting to install the new heater, water continues to drip out of the cut hot water pipe. I've opened all the hot water sink valves but it still leaks. Any reason why this would be? Thanks
