We have an antique crane pedestal sink with oval top and integrated faucet. It was just installed and it moves! It's not bolted to the wall or floor and I was told it can't be?! I have small children and that sounds problematic. They offered to caulk around the base of the pedestal but if I put pressure on the top piece (lifting a little one to wash their hands) it seems like that wouldn't do much. Is their a workaround for this?

I use toggle bolts into the wall to pull the top of the pedestal lav tight to the wall. Yes that needs to be done especially with children in the house. If you look at the lav portion of it there should be two holes to either side of the faucet that are meant as a location to bolt to the wall.
