Idea: a water cutoff if conventional pressure tank going dry?

It's probably been done, but suppose you had a conventional pressure tank with an exit cutoff that would stop the water if air was about to blow out?

This could permit a lower positioning of the air release valve.

This type of system would provide aeration, which could be useful in a following catalytic filter. A variation would raise the exit a bit, and have a drain valve to drain solids that might fall out.

While it also avoids a bladder that can fail, it introduces 3 things that can fail.
