So my realtor mentioned that my tiny master bath needs to get updated before selling (and she is right).

My issue is that i seem to have a nonstandard size, and that appears to be a LARGE cost!

Right now there appears to be a vinyl base with whatever is below it (i guess a pan). I need a 32 inch wide base, and need to go wall-to-wall 47 inches. The drain appears to be centered.

So my question is, is there a vinyl pan/base out there (becuase i assume it will be cheaper than going tile) that can be trimmed from 48 inches down to 47?

The pan probably is a 48" unit and what you're seeing is after the walls are up, about 1/2" on each end. The things are measured stud to stud, and that is almost never just the part you can see.

What a doofus i am! I bet you are right, stud-to-stud is probably 48.... can't believe that that never occurred to me. Time to do some exploratory research on the existing shower. Thanks a ton!
