I'm grooving on that over sized Hexagon look. I like it a lot.

Are you adding Simpson Strong Tie Connectors to that framing detail? How much was the engineer's report? When does the city come and look?

I love it when the city inspects my work and that of the others. Keeps everyone on their toes!

Once again your job site is too tidy. Please stop staging those pictures! lol It makes me look to messy....

That's what I was looking for... Nice work Solider.

I knew there had to be more to the puzzle. The first picture from the top looked a little dodgy (no joist hangers. No doubled up beams...etc) but then looking at the support from below it looks a little "Tank Like".

love it!!!

Nice looking tiles you have there , RSCB . I find the hexagon one too small ......... maybe I am used to much with the big size tiles . LOL

Small? It's 6" for Christ Sake.

What size Hexagon are you working on. The last one's I set where like 1" - 2"....

The wavy tile is ceramic right? Careful with the tile set on the wall that you don't bang them with another's edge. Been there done that. Not as forgiving as porcelain tile.

Cuts and shapes very nice. I like the thickness of the glazing on the Porceleonasa Line. The tile's I'm working on there is nearly none.

quote; Hj in your 60's .... What???

Well, it has been about 20 year s since I have removed or installed a recessed tub, but have taken out many "on the floor" ones during that time.

You back at work all ready?

man I better stop writing and go build something today. Scored some old growth 2"x10"'s from my neighbours' framing crew. They where ripping the roof off and dumping the old ceiling joists.

Time to finish finally my front deck.

Please add a hotlink to the Pooky explanation in the future Erik. Love the stacks of thin-set and 8+9. Of course all date codes are in order.

Tell me. Did you trust the handles on those 8+9 boxes? I have learned to slide your fingers in under the top flap and for go those crappy tabs.
