What's confusing,it's the same problem with both the new pump and the old. Water is at around 25 feet and the well is down 100.

It worked for years with a 3/4 hp pump, then the problem began. Now, I have a new 1 horse Franklin and new tank and it does the same thing. No problem in the house, no matter what is running. Thanks for the help.

It worked fine before the filter change but now I only have water on by-pass. I could have damaged the valve somehow?

I swapped out the pre filter and now I'm only getting water if the softener is by-passed. Do I have air in the system? What I'm I missing? Thanks for any help,Tony

So, you have to turn the water on partly to access the set screw? thanks again

I guess I wasn't being clear. This is a single handle. It did have a set screw but not now from what I can see. It must just pressed on in some way. Thanks for the help.

I'm trying to swap out an American Standard one piece shower valve handle and it seems the set screw is not there. Any ideas or tricks in removing it. Thanks!
