    Thanks for the help. I removed the cap on my toilet and it had a half inch hole in the rubber gasket. Went to Lowe's and bought the Korky Toilet Fill Valve Replacement Cap for $3.29. They didn't carry it at my Home Depot. I replaced the cap and no more water spurts! It works perfectly! So happy...

    Why is this happening? I bought my Toto Supreme One Piece Toilet 1.6 GPF in 2004.
