    Why would NIBCO/CPI Durapex PEX split (lengthwise) and leak?

    We're about to replace all the red PEX piping in our house - already replaced everything in the crawl space, but that just seemed to drive the problem upward. We've had too many leaks to count under the house, and are on our 4th since the crawlspace pipes were replaced, last 2 in past 2 weeks...
