I need help dating this water heater. It has a tank leak model e2f4ordo45v serial 1225t462347

The element is the big hex shaped nut that goes inside the tank. The little box with numbers and wires on it is the thermostat.

How many elements does it have?

They are a sales rep for Bradford White. We only sell State and install State but are looking at Bradford White. When your company is big as ours everyone wants you to install there product and you get some free stuff from time to time.

It's a power vent model and that's all i know at this moment. I'll know more later, I don't even know the tank capacity.

Has anyone had any dealings with one of these? They are wanting us to install one of these where we will know how good they work. So I'm going to install it at my house. It's a natural gas model and I believe it uses pvc for venting. Anyway it's supposed to be as efficient as a tankless model.

It's a 1999 model and i will have to order the parts for it when i figure out what it needs.

I run up on one today that's not working at all. It's a 50 gallon propane model. I tried to call ruud tech sevice but kept getting put on hold after about 30 minutes I gave up. I checked the power at the outlet and it's good. Anyboby have any advice on this model?

Can't bolt to the floor; it's concrete. You can drill it and use ancors or use tapcom screws. It can be done.

Do they make heavy duty shower valve wrenches? I have went thru 2 sets since I have been working as a service plumber. The ones I get if they ever slip and the corner rounds out you might as well throw them away.

Bradford White or State makes a good water heater. There's not a whole lot of difference in the electric models.

Is this a slab house or do you have a crawlspace?

I am a service plumber and I hate anything Kohler related. It's hard to get any kind of replacement parts because of all the different model numbers. :(

I repaired a 2" service line today schedule 80 pressure. I primered the ends and coupling and waited about 20 minutes and it blew right apart. How long do you usually let something like this dry before testing. I redone everything and talked the guy into letting it dry overnight. Hopefully this...

PB blaster is some good stuff. It costs a little more but well worth it.
