HJ, the drawing came off of the Massachusetts Plumbing code website, reference: http://www.mass.gov/ocabr/licensee/dpl-boards/pl/regulations/rules-and-regs/248-cmr-1000-contd.html#10.16. The closest wall for the vent is -/+ 12-13' from the drain.

Thanks, asktom. I cannot vent the kitchen through the roof for structural reasons. Would the loop vent or AAV valve be OK to use. There really is not any way I can vent the sink. Thinking maybe a 3" combination waste/vent pipe (instead of AAV or Island Loop) would possibly work for the sink...

In the illustration below, under UPC is there a Table or Code reference that can state what the allowable distance a horizontal foot vent can travel before entering a vertical vent stack? My distance is approximately +/- 15 feet, just wondering if this will work correctly.
