Disposer drain. What are my options here

Thanks Terry. If you were redoing this would you put a double sanitary tee in, and cap off the unused side? In case at some point down the road someone wants to put a double sink back in. If a double goes in, I'm sure I will need some elbows and it will raise the drain and I will be back to...

Disposer drain. What are my options here

We are replacing a dual sink to a single bowl and adding a garbage disposal. The drains are pretty high. I capped the drain on the left and was planning on using the drain on the right. It doesn't look like it's low enough, does it? There isn't a lot of room to cut anything to re do (mostly...

Re plumbing drain line for new sink

Well I got the one done. Of course I forgot to snap pictures but I will when I get a chance. But it worked out pretty good, put a new elbow out of the wall. I bought a 60 degree and a 45 degree. Of course I needed a 22.5 degree so back to the store I went. Now for the other side (this is two...

Re plumbing drain line for new sink

What about the slope... is the wall stub sloped? So when I connect everything, there should be some slope already there? When you say "hub s street 45", is this what you mean? http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-1-2-in-PVC-DWV-45-Degree-Spigot-x-Hub-Street-Elbow-C48062HD112/100677990 Can I connect...

Re plumbing drain line for new sink

Thanks again for your help. So use something like this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-1-2-in-PVC-DWV-45-Degree-Spigot-x-Hub-Street-Elbow-C48062HD112/100677990 Out of the wall then put a non-reducing 1.5" p-trap adapter on that like this...

Re plumbing drain line for new sink

Thanks for the replies. So I can use this to extend the arm of the p-trap: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Keeney-1-1-4-in-Plastic-Straight-Coupling/1071635 Is that correct? Then I need one of these to cement in to the pipe coming out of the wall (after I cut off the existing stuff)...

Re plumbing drain line for new sink

Thanks... can you point me in the right direction for what I need as far as fittings? Bring it right out of the wall directly in to a trap?

Re plumbing drain line for new sink

I replaced a on the counter bowl type sink with an under mounted sink. So the drain is too high to accommodate the new setup. See attached pictures... It looks like I need to lower the whole drain about 2.5"-3" to make it work (is that right?). I would imagine cutting the left side where the...

Low water pressure on well system

Thanks for the great info. Yes my pump doesn't seem to have any issues getting to 70 PSI. Once I get this issue fixed with the water softener, I'll be hitting you up for help ordering and installing the CSV! My tank is 9" x 48" It says 5600SE on the motor head. I'll take some pictures...

Low water pressure on well system

Thanks to all for the replies. After getting side tracked with some other stuff, back to the water pressure issues. I dove in to it again yesterday and wanted to post my results. Understood about the tank size. It's starting to make a little more sense now with regards to tank size. I think...

Can I wire in an oven to this sub panel?

No you are right, that is the bar that the suicide generator cord was on so it looks like something didn't work right. I'm going to do as you suggested and move everything down. I also discarded the 30 amp breaker it was attached to. My next question is, can I add another circuit to this...

Can I wire in an oven to this sub panel?

Here are some updated pictures. Everything is up and running, I've tested for voltage but haven't got the oven yet. If you get a minute can you take a peak at the pictures. Thanks again for your help.

Can I wire in an oven to this sub panel?

Thanks for your continued help. Yeah some of the specs had me confused as well. But I should be good with the standard 4 wire cord, right? This is the one I was going to get: http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-4-ft-4-Prong-40-Amp-Range-Cord-WX09X10035DS/203438714 Thanks for generously providing...

Can I wire in an oven to this sub panel?

Thanks for helping clear that up. I'll get some better pictures in the next couple of days. You are correct the ground on the right bar was part of the generator hookup. I removed all that. The bonding screw, does that tie together the neutral and ground bars? In a subpanel it should be removed...
