    Submersible loses volume and pressure

Forgive me for asking a dumb question. But is the screen on the pump, or the casing? Is it easily cleaned or replaced? Is this a job for a pro?

    Submersible loses volume and pressure

I have an 85' well with a 1/2hp submersible about 14 years old. Static water level about 25'. It has been great for doing my irrigation and domestic until this year. Now, it works good for my domestic water needs but when I use it for irrigation I suddenly have a problem. When it starts it...

    Loosing pressure with no demand

I broke down and called the well repair guys. They took off the cap and found the casing was filled with water. Pulled the lift pipe and it was cracked at a coupling 6' below the water table. They pulled it up and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. Everything ok now. Thanks for all of the ideas...

    Loosing pressure with no demand

No leaks at the toilets. Loosing about 1-2psi every 30 minutes until pump starts. Checked air pressure in tank 31psi (system dry), pump starts at 33psi. Any other ideas? Is there a check valve on the pump that may be failing? Or something else maybe?

    Loosing pressure with no demand

Losing pressure with no demand My 4" submersible pump (85' well - 35/55) is losing pressure during the night time when there is no demand on the system. It takes about 3-4 hours to drop and kick in the pump. It will cycle about twice per night. I've checked for leaks at all faucets and...
