    I just want to make sure I don't do anything stupid....Can I just turn off the power to the jet pump, take pliers or a wrench, unscrew the hose, take it to the sink and flush it out and then re-attach it and see what happens?

    Thanks for the input... Can a plumbing newbie disconnect that little hose and clean it out? I don't want to break something. Is it as easy as just unscrewing it etc? Thanks
