    Replace tank or replace toilet?

Thanks, @Wallijonn. I should have updated this thread. We've decided to just replace the tank, mainly because after further reading of reviews, she thinks she might like the 1.28GPF models even less. And I've read more reports of occasional clogging with them. (Our old Kohler, one of which we...

    Replace tank or replace toilet?

Thanks, @Reach4, that's great to know. Though admittedly, g-max, e-max, cyclone -- all these flushing systems, it's difficult to know which one actually would do the best job of cleaning. @jadnashua, I can't do that test now, with the broken tank. But the water spot in the toilet was quite...

    Replace tank or replace toilet?

So 'CeFiONtect' is the same thing as CEFIONTECT? So there's no Toto without it, I guess. I wonder if it isn't the CEFIONTECT at all, but the nature of the way the Drake flushes (compared to our old Kohler, also a 1.6gpm model)? Replace tank or replace toilet?

We have a 3 year old Toto Drake (cst744sg). My wife hates it, and yesterday broke the upper tank (these two items are not related :)). She hates the CEFIONTECT, which she never used anything abrasive or acidic on, or anything else that they recommended against using, yet turned into a surface...

Vacuum breaker on hand held shower with dual check valve?

It's a stall shower, and I don't think the hose is long enough for the head to reach the pan. But since I have it anyway, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to put it on (I was going to return it if I didn't need it, but hey, what's another $35? :D). Thanks!

Vacuum breaker on hand held shower with dual check valve?

We're installing a new hand held shower (Hansgrohe). The wall outlet includes dual check valves. Is there any reason we also need to (or would want to) put on a vacuum breaker? I already have it, I'm just not sure if it makes sense to use it. Thanks, Ken
