    Adding a small tankless to supplement 40gal tank

    I replaced our 40gal electric tank water heater a year ago. It doesn't seem to be enough water to make it thru a longer shower as the water gets cold. I am thinking of supplementing the tank with a small electric tankless prior to the tank so the water is preheated before going into the tank...
