I have recently purchased a cadet 3 flowise and in the box it said that the tank components and flapper were chemical resistant. However it said the use of bleach and or in tank cleaners would void warranty. So I wouldn't

Chlorazone specially formulated rubber resists chloramines added to municipal water as well as harsh toilet tank cleaners. The Korky Plus Premium flapper is the first chlorine resistant flapper with a five year guarantee made specifically to resist those harsh chemicals.

Even the tap water will make a flaper go bad. The stuff you drink.
Adding tablets to the tank, I wouldn't be drinking that. I pulled out a seven year flapper the other day that looked like mush.
