Seems like a starter and a "finisher" kit to me. It works better with wet hands.

The upside to cutting live cords is you get a free and instant wire-skinning notch in your favorite pair of diagonal cutters.

I bet it took a lot of heat enegry to make that hole. Wonder what that could have done to the human body?
